Essential Trust Badges & Icons vs Shiprocket Promisefor Shopify (2026)
Essential Trust Badges & Icons and Shiprocket Promise both aim to boost conversions using design elements and trust badges, but they approach this goal with different functionalities and target different merchant needs. Essential Trust Badges & Icons focuses on visual customization and flexibility, allowing merchants to design and place various types of badges, banners, and icons to highlight features, guarantees, and payment options. This app seems suited for merchants prioritizing aesthetic control and extensive design options. Shiprocket Promise, on the other hand, emphasizes delivery accuracy and real-time estimated delivery dates (EDD), using trust badges as a secondary feature to support the credibility established by reliable shipping information. Shiprocket Promise is primarily targeted towards merchants who prioritize accurate delivery timelines and multi-warehouse EDD optimization. Its value proposition lies in reducing cart abandonment by providing precise delivery information based on the buyer's location and shipping settings. While it also offers trust badge customization, this feature appears less extensive compared to Essential Trust Badges & Icons. The significant difference in user ratings and the number of reviews also suggests a disparity in user satisfaction and market penetration, favoring Essential Trust Badges & Icons.

Our Verdict
For merchants who need extensive control over the visual presentation of trust badges and a broad library of design elements, Essential Trust Badges & Icons is the better choice. Its high rating and large number of reviews suggest strong user satisfaction and a reliable feature set. It’s ideal for stores wanting to highlight features, guarantees, and payment options with visually appealing badges.
However, if delivery accuracy and transparency are a primary concern, particularly for merchants with multiple warehouses or complex shipping setups, Shiprocket Promise is more suitable. While its rating and review count are significantly lower, its focus on real-time EDD optimization can address a critical pain point for customers concerned about shipping timelines. It’s a better fit for merchants willing to prioritize shipping reliability and reduce cart abandonment related to delivery concerns.
