Essential Trust Badges & Icons vs Fontio ‑ Easy Font Changerfor Shopify (2026)
Essential Trust Badges & Icons and Fontio ‑ Easy Font Changer both fall under the "Design elements" category in the Shopify app store, but they cater to very different needs. Essential Trust Badges & Icons focuses on building customer trust and increasing conversions by providing merchants with tools to create and display trust badges, icons, and banners showcasing guarantees, shipping information, and payment options. It targets merchants looking to visually enhance their store's credibility and improve sales through visual cues. Fontio, on the other hand, is geared towards merchants who want to change the visual appearance of their store through typography. It simplifies the process of adding and managing fonts, particularly Google Fonts, without requiring coding knowledge. It directly addresses the needs of less technical store owners seeking a user-friendly way to customize the look and feel of their store through varied and consistent typography. While both apps enhance design, one is geared toward visual reassurance (badges and icons), and the other is focused on the aesthetic element of fonts.
