Our Verdict
For merchants primarily focused on increasing AOV by strategically offering free shipping and upselling within the cart and product pages, Essential Free Shipping Upsell is the stronger choice. Its established user base and revenue-oriented features provide a solid foundation for driving pre-purchase conversions. The ability to track revenue generated by the free shipping bar provides concrete data to justify its implementation.
Thankify is better suited for merchants who prioritize optimizing the post-purchase experience and turning one-time buyers into repeat customers. While it also aims to increase AOV, it focuses on leveraging the thank you page to achieve this, making it ideal for stores seeking to build customer loyalty, gather feedback, and improve social media presence. However, the extremely low number of reviews should be taken into account.
