Essential Free Shipping Upsell vs Salepify Free Gift BOGO Giftsfor Shopify (2026)
Essential Free Shipping Upsell focuses primarily on leveraging the 'free shipping' incentive to increase Average Order Value (AOV). It uses a progress bar and cart upsells to encourage customers to reach the free shipping threshold. Its description emphasizes simplicity and immediate results. Salepify Free Gift BOGO Gifts, on the other hand, is a broader solution centered around incentivizing purchases with free gifts, volume discounts, and 'Buy X Get Y' promotions. While it also includes a cart progress bar for upsells, it's functionality goes beyond free shipping to encompass a wider range of promotional offers and inventory management goals like clearing out older products.

Our Verdict
Essential Free Shipping Upsell is ideal for merchants who want a straightforward and easy-to-implement solution focused solely on leveraging free shipping to increase AOV. Its simplicity and focus on this specific tactic make it a great choice for beginners or those with limited time. Salepify Free Gift BOGO Gifts, however, is better suited for merchants with more complex promotional needs. If you need to offer free gifts, run 'Buy X Get Y' campaigns, manage volume discounts, and clear out old inventory, Salepify provides a wider range of tools to achieve those goals, although potentially at the cost of increased complexity.
