EM Lookbook ‑ Shop by Gallery vs Image Slider Profor Shopify (2026)
EM Lookbook ‑ Shop by Gallery and Image Slider Pro both address visual merchandising needs on Shopify stores, but they cater to different specific use cases. EM Lookbook focuses on creating shoppable lookbooks, implied by its name, which allow customers to directly purchase items featured in the gallery. Image Slider Pro, on the other hand, is geared towards general image showcasing, providing features to build visually appealing sliders for various purposes, including banners, carousels, and general fashion image displays. The core difference lies in the shopping functionality. EM Lookbook inherently focuses on turning the visual display into a point of purchase. Image Slider Pro appears more versatile in application. Its features like adding URLs to images indicate it can be used for driving traffic to product pages or external links, but the primary focus remains on the visual presentation and customizability of the slider itself. Given the features, EM Lookbook is likely more suitable for fashion and apparel stores looking to directly drive sales through visually engaging lookbooks, while Image Slider Pro is better for stores seeking flexible image sliders for promotion, branding, or general visual content presentation.
