Elogy vs Shiptheoryfor Shopify (2026)
Elogy and Shiptheory are both shipping solutions for Shopify merchants, but they cater to significantly different needs and boast vastly different user experiences. Elogy positions itself as a complete e-fulfillment solution, integrating directly with their proprietary logistics services to automate warehouse management and order fulfillment. Its strength lies in providing end-to-end control over the entire logistics process if a merchant is already using or considering using Elogy's fulfillment centers. The downside is its limited user base and very poor ratings. Shiptheory, on the other hand, focuses on automating shipment booking and label creation across numerous carriers. Its core strength is its flexibility and wide carrier support, allowing merchants to integrate their existing shipping workflows into a streamlined system.

Our Verdict
Shiptheory appears to be the superior choice for most Shopify merchants in 2026 due to its stellar reputation (5/5 rating with 53 reviews), wide carrier support, and flexible automation features. Its focus on streamlining existing shipping workflows makes it adaptable to various business sizes and shipping needs. Elogy is best suited for merchants who are already deeply invested in Elogy's logistics services and seek complete integration with their warehousing and fulfillment processes. However, given the extremely low rating and limited reviews, it would be prudent to explore alternatives to Elogy, even for merchants using their logistics services, unless Elogy has significantly improved its app's performance and user satisfaction.
