Our Verdict
If you are a retailer managing a team of employees with Shopify POS and need a solution for scheduling, time tracking, payroll, and commission management, Easyteam for Point of Sale is the clear choice. Its feature set directly addresses the challenges of managing retail staff. However, if you are primarily concerned with managing a large inventory and need a tool to efficiently update SKUs and barcodes in bulk, SKU Auto | Bulk SKU Generator is the better option. Its focus on bulk editing and custom templates simplifies a crucial aspect of inventory management.
Ultimately, the 'Selling in person' category overlap is superficial. These apps serve completely different needs and target distinct segments of Shopify merchants. Choosing between them depends entirely on whether you need to manage employees or manage product data more efficiently.
