EasySell COD Form & Upsells vs Shopify Search & Discoveryfor Shopify (2026)
EasySell COD Form & Upsells and Shopify Search & Discovery are both Shopify apps that aim to enhance the customer experience and boost sales, but they approach this goal from vastly different angles. EasySell focuses on streamlining the cash on delivery process, reducing fake orders, and increasing Average Order Value (AOV) through upselling and related offers, particularly beneficial for dropshipping businesses. It provides a 1-Click COD form, order export to Google Sheets, OTP verification, and post-purchase upsells. Shopify Search & Discovery, on the other hand, centers around improving product findability within the store itself through enhanced search, filtering, and product recommendations. The key difference lies in their primary focus. EasySell optimizes the checkout process and minimizes order risks associated with COD, appealing to merchants prioritizing efficient COD management and post-purchase upselling tactics. Shopify Search & Discovery concentrates on pre-purchase product discovery, helping customers find the right items faster and potentially increasing AOV through related product suggestions and product boosting. While both apps offer upsell/cross-sell functionalities, EasySell's focus is on post-purchase, while Shopify's is on in-session product discovery.
