EasySell COD Form & Upsells vs Sezzle Widgetfor Shopify (2026)
EasySell COD Form & Upsells and Sezzle Widget are both Shopify apps designed to improve sales, but they achieve this goal through vastly different methods. EasySell focuses on streamlining the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment process, enhancing AOV through upsells and offers, and minimizing fake orders. Its target audience is dropshippers and merchants heavily reliant on COD payments, particularly those seeking to optimize the post-purchase experience with features like OTP verification and cart recovery. On the other hand, Sezzle Widget integrates Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) functionality, appealing to customers who prefer installment payment options. The core difference lies in the payment strategies they facilitate. EasySell primarily caters to markets where COD remains a significant payment method and prioritizes conversion rate optimization through a simplified order form and post-purchase upsells. Sezzle, conversely, targets customers in the US and Canada who are seeking flexible payment plans for larger purchases. It focuses on increasing AOV and conversion by enabling installment payments, thus lowering the barrier to purchase for price-sensitive shoppers. The choice between the two hinges on the merchant's target market and the prevalent payment preferences of their customer base.

Our Verdict
For merchants heavily relying on Cash on Delivery (COD) payments, especially those involved in dropshipping, EasySell COD Form & Upsells is the clear winner. Its high rating and substantial number of reviews suggest a strong track record of success in optimizing the COD process, reducing fraudulent orders, and increasing AOV through upsells and offers. The ability to track events via multiple platforms offers valuable insights into campaign effectiveness.
Sezzle Widget is best suited for merchants operating in the US and Canada who want to tap into the Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) market. While its rating is lower and review count smaller than EasySell, the core value proposition of offering installment payment options can significantly increase sales and AOV by making products more accessible to a wider range of customers. If your target market heavily uses BNPL, Sezzle is the more appropriate choice.
