EasyB2B: Password Protection vs HIKO Social Loginfor Shopify (2026)
EasyB2B: Password Protection and HIKO Social Login both aim to enhance the customer experience on a Shopify store, but they address fundamentally different needs. EasyB2B focuses on enabling B2B (wholesale) functionality through password-protected collections and products, along with a streamlined wholesaler registration process. It targets merchants who sell both B2C and B2B, or exclusively B2B, and need to control access to wholesale pricing and products. Its strength lies in its all-in-one B2B application management. HIKO Social Login, on the other hand, prioritizes simplifying the login process for all customers (B2C or B2B) through social media logins and email links, while also capturing valuable customer data. The key difference lies in their core purpose. EasyB2B is a B2B management tool centered around access control and registration, while HIKO Social Login focuses on user authentication and data collection applicable to a broader audience. HIKO also emphasizes easy integration with marketing platforms, allowing it to provide value beyond just account creation, for example, for collecting subscriber information. Legacy customer accounts are supported only for Hiko, meaning a data migration may be required for EasyB2B.

Our Verdict
If you need to manage wholesale customers, restrict access to products or collections based on user roles, and streamline the B2B registration process, EasyB2B: Password Protection is the more suitable choice, despite the limited number of reviews. The focus is squarely on enabling B2B operations. However, if your primary goal is to improve the login experience for all customers, simplify the process of creating accounts, gather customer information for marketing purposes, and integrate with a wider range of marketing platforms, HIKO Social Login is the better option.
The low number of reviews for EasyB2B in 2026 is a concern; you'd need to investigate its support and reliability. If you don't need a comprehensive B2B solution, HIKO Social Login is a generally better and more complete solution for most common Shopify use cases.
