Easy Custom CSS vs Trusted Product Tabs with AIfor Shopify (2026)
Easy Custom CSS and Trusted Product Tabs with AI are both Shopify apps categorized as Design Elements, but they cater to drastically different needs and skill levels. Easy Custom CSS targets technically inclined merchants who want to customize their store's appearance by directly injecting CSS code. With a perfect 5/5 rating based on a substantial 91 reviews, it strongly indicates high user satisfaction. Given its name and high rating, it likely provides an easy method for organizing product information using tabs, and leverages AI to assist in tab creation or content generation. This positions it as a solution for merchants who prioritize user experience and want to improve product presentation without requiring coding skills.

Our Verdict
Based on the available data, Trusted Product Tabs with AI is the clear winner for most Shopify merchants in 2026. Its high rating and numerous positive reviews suggest a reliable and effective solution for enhancing product presentation. Unless a merchant has a specific need for highly customized CSS modifications and possesses the necessary technical skills, the significant risk associated with Easy Custom CSS (due to its extremely low rating) makes it a less attractive option.
Easy Custom CSS might only be suitable for developers or merchants with significant CSS experience who are willing to troubleshoot potential issues. However, the low rating suggests that even for technically proficient users, the app might not deliver a smooth or reliable experience. Trusted Product Tabs with AI would be much better for the typical Shopify store owner.
