E! ‑ Loyalty Program & Rewards vs Subi: Subscriptions & Loyaltyfor Shopify (2026)
E! ‑ Loyalty Program & Rewards and Subi: Subscriptions & Loyalty both aim to boost customer retention, but they cater to different business models. E! focuses solely on loyalty and rewards programs with a strong emphasis on referral programs, VIP tiers, and points-based systems to incentivize repeat purchases. It positions itself as an accessible solution for creating engaging loyalty experiences. Subi, on the other hand, combines subscription management with loyalty features, targeting merchants who want to offer recurring products, memberships, or subscription boxes, alongside traditional loyalty rewards. Subi's comprehensive approach extends beyond basic loyalty by providing subscription management tools like a self-service portal, flexible billing options, dunning management, and analytics specifically tailored for subscription businesses. E! emphasizes ease of use and creating gamified loyalty experiences, featuring multi-language support and 24/7 customer service. The main differentiating factor is that E! is purely a loyalty and rewards app, whereas Subi offers subscriptions *and* loyalty features in one platform, broadening its functionality but potentially increasing its complexity.

Our Verdict
If a merchant primarily wants a dedicated loyalty program focused on points, referrals, and VIP tiers to increase repeat purchases in a traditional retail setting, E! ‑ Loyalty Program & Rewards is a strong choice. Its 5-star rating suggests high user satisfaction with its core functionality. However, if a merchant sells subscription-based products or services (boxes, memberships, recurring digital products), or plans to do so, Subi: Subscriptions & Loyalty provides a more complete solution. It might have a slightly lower rating, but it boasts more reviews, suggesting broader adoption and a feature set optimized for recurring revenue models.
Ultimately, the choice depends on the business model. For a straightforward loyalty program, E! appears simpler and more focused. For businesses embracing subscriptions, Subi offers a more integrated approach, streamlining both subscription management and customer loyalty within a single platform. Consider the long-term business strategy and the need for subscription-related features when making the decision.
