E! ‑ Loyalty Program & Rewards vs SE Wishlist Enginefor Shopify (2026)
E! ‑ Loyalty Program & Rewards and SE Wishlist Engine, while both residing in the 'Customer Loyalty' category on Shopify, address fundamentally different aspects of customer engagement. E! focuses on building long-term relationships through structured loyalty programs, rewarding customers for repeat purchases, referrals, and engagement with VIP tiers. It's designed to transform first-time buyers into loyal brand advocates. Conversely, SE Wishlist Engine is oriented towards capturing immediate purchase intent and recovering potentially lost sales by enabling customers to save products they're interested in and subsequently reminding them about those products via automated emails and alerts about price drops and restocks. E! ‑ Loyalty Program & Rewards aims to increase customer lifetime value and brand loyalty, offering a comprehensive suite of features to incentivize repeated engagement. SE Wishlist Engine, on the other hand, is more about maximizing conversion rates on existing traffic and turning indecisive shoppers into paying customers. The core differentiator lies in their approach: E! builds loyalty over time, while SE Wishlist Engine attempts to capitalize on immediate interest.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing the creation of a structured loyalty ecosystem with tiered rewards and referral programs, E! ‑ Loyalty Program & Rewards is the clear choice. Its focus is on cultivating long-term relationships and rewarding ongoing engagement. This is ideal for brands that have already established a customer base and want to enhance loyalty.
SE Wishlist Engine, however, is better suited for merchants aiming to capture immediate sales opportunities and reduce cart abandonment. If a merchant struggles with converting website visitors into customers or has a high rate of abandoned carts, SE Wishlist Engine provides a valuable tool for reminding potential customers about their desired products and incentivizing them to complete their purchase. It is also beneficial for merchants wanting insights into product popularity based on wishlist data.
