Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a tried-and-tested, comprehensive loyalty program with detailed features like points, referrals, and VIP tiers, E! ‑ Loyalty Program & Rewards appears to be the stronger choice. The high number of reviews and explicitly mentioned support and customization features indicate a more robust and user-friendly experience.
Patch Customer Retention, with its limited review data, is difficult to assess. It might suit merchants looking for a very simple solution with an unknown feature set, or those willing to take a risk on a newer app. However, the lack of information makes it a considerably less predictable choice compared to E!.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up and use?
Without user testimonials for Patch, it's challenging to say definitively. E!'s potentially higher feature count might make setup slightly more complex initially, but its detailed description suggests user-friendliness. Patch *could* be simpler, but that's based on speculation.
Which app offers better customer support?
E! explicitly mentions 24/7 support, making it the clear winner in this category. There's no information available about the support offered by Patch.
Which app is more customizable?
E!'s description highlights 'customizable points, rewards program,' and VIP tiers, indicating higher customization options compared to Patch, where no such detail is provided.
Which app is better for a small store just starting out?
If a small store prioritizes a comprehensive loyalty program from day one, E! is the better choice due to its proven track record and defined features. Patch could be a lower-commitment option initially if it is intended for long-term use.
How can I know which app is truly better for my store?
Ideally, test both apps with a free trial (if available). Analyze your data after the trial to determine which app better aligns with your store's needs and customer behavior. Alternatively, look for more user testimonials for Patch.
