Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a comprehensive loyalty program with points, referrals, and VIP tiers to actively reward customers and foster long-term engagement, E! ‑ Loyalty Program & Rewards is the stronger choice. Its higher rating and larger number of reviews suggest greater user satisfaction. However, if a merchant's primary goal is to improve product discovery, reduce abandoned carts, and leverage personalized marketing through wishlists, Mst: Wishlist + Marketing flow, with its multiple wishlist options and notification features, is the more suitable option. Merchants should consider which approach aligns best with their existing marketing strategies and customer base.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Based on the descriptions, both apps emphasize easy setup. However, Mst: Wishlist + Marketing flow explicitly mentions 'Easy app setup,' which suggests it might have a slightly simpler initial configuration. However, E!'s 24/7 support might offset any initial complexity with readily available assistance.
Which app is better for increasing repeat purchases?
E! ‑ Loyalty Program & Rewards is specifically designed to increase repeat purchases through its points-based loyalty program, referral incentives, and VIP tiers. Mst: Wishlist + Marketing flow indirectly increases repeat purchases by reminding customers about saved items, but it isn't as directly incentivizing as E!.
Which app offers more customization options?
Both apps offer significant customization. E! ‑ Loyalty Program & Rewards focuses on customizable points and rewards, allowing merchants to tailor the program to their brand. Mst: Wishlist + Marketing flow provides a fully customizable wishlist page with liquid template, HTML, and CSS control, offering broader design flexibility.
Which app is better for gathering customer data?
Both apps gather customer data, but for different purposes. E! ‑ Loyalty Program & Rewards tracks customer engagement with the loyalty program, providing insights into reward usage and VIP tier progression. Mst: Wishlist + Marketing flow reveals customer preferences and purchase intentions through saved items, allowing merchants to understand which products are most desirable.
Does Mst: Wishlist + Marketing flow replace the need for a loyalty program?
No, Mst: Wishlist + Marketing flow does not replace a dedicated loyalty program like E! ‑ Loyalty Program & Rewards. While it enhances the shopping experience and aids in marketing, it doesn't offer the same level of incentivization and reward structure that a loyalty program provides.
