DRIP: Returns For Sale Widget vs Reverto : Return & Exchangefor Shopify (2026)
In 2026, Shopify merchants facing the challenge of managing returns have two distinct options: DRIP: Returns For Sale Widget and Reverto : Return & Exchange. DRIP positions itself as a tool to directly sell open-box returns by highlighting them on the product page. Its strength lies in its simplicity and focus on recovering value from items that can't be sold as new, like damaged box, clearance, or refurbished products. It targets merchants who want to own the customer and sell returns directly, focusing on a quick and branded solution. Reverto, on the other hand, aims to be an all-in-one return management system, automating refunds, exchanges, and cancellations. Reverto's strengths lie in its comprehensive approach to managing the entire return process, including logistics platform integrations, personalized email communication, and customizable return policies. This app appears tailored towards merchants seeking an enterprise-level return management system to streamline the entire returns workflow. The fundamental difference is that DRIP focuses on selling returned goods directly, while Reverto manages the return process and potentially integrates with other services for reselling.

Our Verdict
For merchants with a significant volume of returns that can be sold as 'open box' items and desire to control that sales process directly, DRIP: Returns For Sale Widget is likely the better choice. Its ease of use and focus on direct sales make it a quick win. However, for businesses needing a robust, all-encompassing solution to manage and automate the entire return process, including logistics, customer communication, and complex return rules, Reverto : Return & Exchange is the more suitable option. It offers a scalable solution for larger businesses with more complex return needs. Although Reverto has a lower rating and fewer reviews, its feature set positions it as the superior option for larger, more complex operations.
Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?

Which app is better for increasing customer loyalty?
While both apps aim to improve customer experience, Reverto's ability to create personalized return policies and automated communication arguably gives it an edge in building long-term customer loyalty. Reverto's integration with logistics platforms like FedEx and Australia Post makes it the clear choice for handling returns with complex logistics requirements.
Which app helps more in preventing returns?
DRIP focuses on selling returned products, it does nothing to prevent future returns. Reverto focuses on a clearly stated return policy. The app's control over product returns also allows more in-depth analysis to potentially reduce return rates in the future.
