DRINKS ASSURE vs Mipler — Advanced Reportsfor Shopify (2026)
DRINKS ASSURE and Mipler — Advanced Reports both target Shopify merchants but serve drastically different needs. DRINKS ASSURE is a highly specialized app focused on real-time alcohol tax and compliance, catering specifically to alcohol producers and retailers. Its primary strength lies in its pre-configured compliance rules, POS integration, and reporting for state filings. Mipler, on the other hand, is a general-purpose advanced reporting tool enabling merchants to build custom reports and dashboards using various data points, including metafields and tags. It allows merchants to analyze store performance through sales, financial, tax, customer, and inventory reports, and it excels in data visualization and export capabilities. The critical difference lies in their functionalities. DRINKS ASSURE is designed for merchants navigating the complex regulatory landscape of alcohol sales, while Mipler is designed for merchants looking for extensive data analysis and customized reporting on various aspects of their business. Mipler offers an AI Assistant to help with report creation, further differentiating it. While both apps fall under the "Finances" category in Shopify, their functions barely overlap beyond reporting on taxes. The choice between the two depends entirely on the merchant's specific business requirements.

Our Verdict
If you are an alcohol producer or retailer selling online through Shopify, DRINKS ASSURE is the clear choice. Its specialized features address the complexities of alcohol tax and compliance, providing a significant value proposition by automating a challenging aspect of your business and reducing legal risk. The lower number of reviews shouldn't be a major concern, given the niche target market.
For all other Shopify merchants seeking in-depth data analysis and customizable reporting capabilities, Mipler — Advanced Reports is the more suitable option. Its advanced features, large user base, and AI assistance for report creation make it a powerful tool for gaining business insights. Mipler offers broader applicability and addresses general business reporting needs rather than a very specific regulatory challenge.
