DPO Dynamic Product Options vs Milople Custom Pricefor Shopify (2026)
DPO Dynamic Product Options and Milople Custom Price both operate within the 'Pricing' and 'Pricing quotes' categories on the Shopify App Store, but cater to distinct merchant needs. DPO Dynamic Product Options, evidenced by its strong 5/5 rating from 290 reviews, likely focuses on allowing merchants to offer a range of customizable product options, impacting the final price based on selections. It likely provides a robust and user-friendly experience given its positive reviews and assumed longer market presence. Milople Custom Price, on the other hand, directly targets merchants seeking a 'name your price' or donation-based model. Its core feature allows customers to directly input their desired price, facilitating flexibility in pricing strategies for B2B negotiations, tip collection, or donation drives. However, its current 0/5 rating and lack of reviews indicate a very new app, or potentially one with usability or functionality issues that prevent it from gaining traction. The risks are therefore higher with Milople Custom Price, despite its unique value proposition.

Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a tried-and-true solution for dynamic product customization affecting pricing, DPO Dynamic Product Options is the clear choice. Its established reputation and positive reviews offer reassurance of reliability and ease of use. However, if a merchant specifically requires a 'name your price' or donation-based model, and is willing to take a risk on a newer app, Milople Custom Price offers a targeted solution. Be prepared to thoroughly test the app before relying on it for critical business functions.
Ultimately, the choice hinges on the merchant's risk tolerance and specific pricing strategy needs. The lack of reviews for Milople Custom Price means careful consideration and testing are crucial before widespread adoption. If you value stability and a proven track record, DPO Dynamic Product Options is the safer bet.
