Our Verdict
If a merchant's primary concern is identifying and immediately fixing broken links to prevent lost traffic and maintain a healthy site, Doc 404: Fix 404 links is a targeted solution. The focus on 301 redirects, automatic rules, and real-time alerts makes it ideal for quickly addressing these specific issues.
However, for merchants seeking a comprehensive SEO solution to improve their overall search engine ranking and drive more organic traffic across various aspects of SEO, Sherpas: Smart SEO is the more suitable choice. Its AI-powered features, image optimization tools, and broader scope provide a more holistic approach to SEO. Despite the lower number of reviews for Doc 404, the lack of a large review count in 2026 might raise concerns about its reliability or current market adoption compared to Sherpas.
