Our Verdict
The choice between Discord Connect and Upro B2B & Wholesale hinges entirely on the merchant's business model. If a merchant is actively building or maintaining a community on Discord, Discord Connect provides powerful tools to integrate their store with that community, leveraging Discord for authentication, rewards, and engagement. Upro B2B & Wholesale, conversely, is tailored for merchants engaged in B2B or wholesale operations, needing tools to manage large orders via file uploads, track credit limits, and provide financial transparency to their B2B clients. For most standard Shopify stores, Discord connect will not be needed and is primarily useful for engaging with users outside of the traditional Shopify user experience.
