DingAI – Surveys That Sell vs OSOM Post Purchase Surveysfor Shopify (2026)
DingAI – Surveys That Sell and OSOM Post Purchase Surveys both aim to enhance the customer experience, but they approach it from fundamentally different angles. DingAI focuses on real-time, AI-powered engagement *before* the purchase, acting as a virtual sales assistant to guide visitors through the sales funnel. It uses an AI agent with a built-in chatbot to interact with shoppers directly on the store, answering questions, providing product recommendations, and encouraging checkout. OSOM Post Purchase Surveys, on the other hand, concentrates on gathering customer feedback *after* the purchase to understand satisfaction and identify areas for improvement in the customer journey. The primary distinction lies in the timing and purpose of the 'survey'. DingAI utilizes real-time AI-driven interactions designed to *influence* a purchase decision, essentially acting as a dynamic sales tool. OSOM Post Purchase Surveys, however, are static questionnaires designed to *collect* data and insights after a transaction has been completed. While both leverage AI to some degree (OSOM offers AI-powered question generation), their core functionalities and target outcomes are vastly different. DingAI aims to boost immediate sales through real-time engagement, while OSOM seeks to improve long-term customer satisfaction and journey optimization through feedback collection.

Our Verdict
If a merchant's primary goal is to actively engage with website visitors, guide them through the sales process in real-time, and ultimately increase immediate sales, DingAI – Surveys That Sell is the clear choice. Its AI agent and chatbot provide a dynamic and interactive experience that can significantly impact conversion rates. The higher number of reviews also suggests broader adoption and experience with the app. OSOM Post Purchase Surveys is more suited for merchants who prioritize understanding customer satisfaction, identifying pain points in the customer journey, and using data to optimize their overall business. It's ideal for businesses seeking long-term improvements based on customer feedback.
While both apps use the term 'surveys', their application is vastly different. DingAI's 'survey' is essentially a dynamic conversation, while OSOM's is a traditional questionnaire. For a new store, OSOM might provide quicker initial insights, but for a store already experiencing traffic and needing sales optimization, DingAI offers a proactive solution.
