DingAI – Surveys That Sell vs DIYVA Conversational AIfor Shopify (2026)
DingAI – Surveys That Sell and DIYVA Conversational AI both offer survey capabilities for Shopify stores, but their approach and target audience differ significantly. DingAI positions itself as a sales-focused AI agent incorporating a chatbot to drive real-time visitor interactions and guide them towards purchase. It leverages AI chat to reduce friction and increase conversions. DIYVA, on the other hand, focuses primarily on gathering customer feedback through voice-based surveys and dialogues. It emphasizes frictionless data collection via voice, aiming to improve customer satisfaction and gather product reviews. The target audience for DingAI appears to be merchants focused on increasing sales through proactive AI-driven engagement, while DIYVA targets merchants prioritizing customer feedback and satisfaction measurement. Key differentiators between the two apps include the type of engagement (AI chat vs. voice surveys), the primary goal (sales vs. feedback), and platform support. DingAI's AI chat functionality aims to proactively convert visitors into customers through real-time assistance. DIYVA provides a voice interface to enable customers to quickly answer product reviews and questionnaires on any topic. The limitation of DIYVA only supporting Vintage Themes is also a significant factor for merchants with Online Store 2.0 themes (which by 2026 will likely be most merchants). The fact that DIYVA has no reviews indicates a significant risk of choosing this app. Overall, DingAI presents a modern AI-driven approach to driving sales, while DIYVA focuses on gathering insights through voice interactions.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing sales growth and looking to leverage AI-powered real-time interaction with customers, DingAI – Surveys That Sell is the clear choice. Its AI agent and chatbot functionalities are designed to guide visitors towards purchase and reduce friction in the sales process. The high rating and positive reviews further solidify its position as a reliable option.
DIYVA Conversational AI might be suitable for merchants specifically interested in voice-based surveys and gathering customer feedback. However, the lack of reviews and the limited platform support (Vintage Themes only) present significant risks. Unless a merchant has a very specific need for voice surveys and a Vintage theme, DingAI is the more robust and recommended solution.
