Delm ‑ Estimated Delivery Date vs Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZipfor Shopify (2026)
Delm ‑ Estimated Delivery Date and Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip both boast perfect 5/5 ratings, but ShipZip has a significantly larger number of reviews (350) compared to Delm's 49. This suggests a wider user base and potentially more established track record for ShipZip. While Delm's focus seems to be primarily on displaying estimated delivery dates, ShipZip positions itself as a comprehensive shipping solution with advanced rules for calculating custom shipping rates based on a wide array of factors like product attributes, customer location, and delivery date. ShipZip requires Carrier Calculated Shipping API to send rates, which could be a barrier for some merchants. ShipZip targets merchants with complex shipping needs, such as those requiring product-specific shipping rates, local delivery options with time slots, or restrictions based on postcode. Delm, on the other hand, likely caters to merchants seeking a simpler solution solely focused on communicating delivery estimates to customers. The vast feature set of ShipZip makes it a powerful tool, but it could also present a steeper learning curve compared to the presumably straightforward Delm. Therefore, merchants should evaluate the complexity of their shipping requirements before making a decision.

Our Verdict
For merchants needing a simple and straightforward solution to display estimated delivery dates, Delm ‑ Estimated Delivery Date may be sufficient. Its simplicity likely translates to ease of use. However, for merchants with more complex shipping needs – such as product-specific shipping rates, local delivery options with time slots, or restrictions based on postal codes – Shipping & Delivery ‑ ShipZip is the clearly superior choice, despite the potential complexity and the requirement for Carrier Calculated Shipping API. The advanced rule-setting capabilities of ShipZip unlock significant customization and control over the shipping process, albeit at the cost of potentially greater setup effort.
