DC WhatsApp Marketing+Helpdesk vs Notch – Customer Support Suitefor Shopify (2026)
DC WhatsApp Marketing+Helpdesk and Notch – Customer Support Suite both aim to improve customer support for Shopify merchants, but they take radically different approaches. DC WhatsApp Marketing+Helpdesk positions itself as a self-service solution, empowering merchants to manage WhatsApp marketing and customer support in-house using automation, AI, and a unified omnichannel inbox. It focuses on leveraging the WhatsApp Business API for marketing broadcasts, cart recovery, and automated customer communication. Its target audience is merchants who want direct control over their customer interactions and wish to actively engage customers through WhatsApp. Notch – Customer Support Suite, on the other hand, offers a fully managed customer support service. They completely take over the customer support operations, promising to handle everything with their AI and expert teams. This positions it as a hands-off solution for merchants who prefer to outsource their entire customer support function, prioritizing operational efficiency and allowing them to focus on core business activities. Notch is aimed at merchants willing to cede control of customer support to an external provider for increased efficiency and reduced workload.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants seeking active engagement with their customers through WhatsApp marketing and a unified omnichannel helpdesk, DC WhatsApp Marketing+Helpdesk is a strong contender. Its automation features and focus on WhatsApp Business API provide valuable tools for driving sales and improving customer communication. However, merchants need to be prepared to actively manage and configure the system.
On the other hand, Notch – Customer Support Suite is ideal for merchants who want a completely hands-off solution for customer support. If you're looking to delegate the entire customer support function and focus on other aspects of your business, Notch provides a managed service that handles everything for you. The lower number of reviews compared to DC WhatsApp Marketing + Helpdesk, along with the higher rating, might point to it being a newer service, though both warrant investigation into the experiences of current users. The decision hinges on whether you prefer in-house control and active engagement or outsourced management and operational efficiency.
