Dathic Product & Store Locator vs OpenFiskal TSE & RKSV for POSfor Shopify (2026)
Dathic Product & Store Locator and OpenFiskal TSE & RKSV for POS address very different needs within the 'Selling in person' Shopify category. Dathic focuses on enhancing the customer experience by providing a store and product locator. It targets merchants with physical locations or those distributing through partner stores, enabling customers to find where to buy their products, both online and offline. It aims to drive sales by connecting customers with purchasing options and providing analytics on product and store popularity. OpenFiskal, on the other hand, is a compliance-focused app. It caters specifically to Shopify POS merchants in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH region) and aims to ensure adherence to KassenSichV and RKSV regulations. It provides features for secure real-time signing of sales receipts, Z-reports for bookkeeping, and audit-ready data exports. OpenFiskal prioritizes legal compliance and streamlined financial management for businesses operating within the DACH region's stringent fiscal regulations. Given its regional focus, it's not suitable for merchants outside Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
