DataChamp Order Export XLS/CSV vs Versa Cloud ERP for eCommercefor Shopify (2026)
DataChamp Order Export XLS/CSV and Versa Cloud ERP for eCommerce both fall under the ERP category in the Shopify app store, but their focus and target audience are vastly different. DataChamp is a specialized data export tool designed for merchants who need granular control over their data reporting and analysis. It excels at extracting and formatting Shopify data (orders, products, customers, metafields) into customizable CSV and Excel reports. It is positioned as an easy-to-use solution for creating tailored reports without complex coding. Versa Cloud ERP, on the other hand, is a comprehensive ERP system aimed at inventory-heavy businesses such as manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers. It provides a wider range of features, including inventory management, warehousing, and accounting integration. Its goal is to streamline multi-channel operations for businesses with complex inventory needs. The primary differentiator lies in the scope of functionality. DataChamp is hyper-focused on data export and reporting. Versa Cloud ERP is a full-fledged ERP system encompassing inventory, warehousing, accounting, and B2B interactions. DataChamp offers a user-friendly interface with an intuitive editor and a large number of available fields, while Versa Cloud ERP promises customization options out-of-the-box and minimizes operational complexity. The merchant's primary need will dictate the best choice between these apps. For a company requiring detailed reports across all Shopify datasets, DataChamp's customization and export capabilities are more valuable than Versa's ERP implementation, and vice versa.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants primarily seeking a tool to extract and manipulate Shopify data into customized reports for accounting, analysis, or integration purposes, DataChamp Order Export XLS/CSV is the clear choice. Its higher rating, larger number of reviews, and focus on data customization make it ideal for this specific need. However, for larger Shopify businesses, particularly those heavily involved in manufacturing, wholesale, or retail, and requiring comprehensive inventory management, warehouse optimization, and accounting integration, Versa Cloud ERP for eCommerce might be a more suitable long-term solution. However, given the low review count and rating, a careful evaluation of its functionality and customer support is advised before implementation.
