Our Verdict
Merchants who primarily ship internationally and struggle with customs clearance processes should strongly consider Customs Buddy. Its automated commercial invoice generation is its core strength, designed to avoid customs delays. However, the low number of reviews could indicate a relatively new app or a smaller user base. EZLabel: Australia Post Ship is best suited for merchants heavily reliant on Australia Post MyPost Business for shipping, both domestically and internationally. The app's high rating and substantial number of reviews suggest a proven track record and a well-established user base. If shipping via Australia Post is critical, EZLabel is the clear choice.
Common Questions
Which app is better for avoiding shipping delays?
Customs Buddy is designed to prevent delays caused by incomplete or incorrect commercial invoices during customs clearance. EZLabel aims to reduce delays related to manual label creation and fulfillment processes via Australia Post.
Can I use both apps simultaneously?
Yes, depending on your workflow. If you use Australia Post for international shipping and need customs invoices, you could potentially use both. Customs Buddy would handle invoice generation while EZLabel manages the Australia Post aspects.
Which app is easier to set up?
Both apps claim ease of use. Customs Buddy boasts a 'plug and play' experience with Shopify Flow, while EZLabel claims a 'two-click' process. Without hands-on testing, it's difficult to determine which is definitively easier, but EZLabel's higher review count suggests more merchants have found it straightforward to use.
Does Customs Buddy support multiple shipping carriers?
Based on the description, Customs Buddy focuses on the commercial invoice creation process, which is generally carrier-agnostic, suggesting it is compatible with multiple carriers. EZLabel is specifically for Australia Post.
Which app offers better value for money?
Without pricing information, it is impossible to determine which offers better value. Value depends on the merchant's specific needs and shipping volume. If a merchant frequently experiences customs issues, Customs Buddy might be highly valuable. If they ship primarily with Australia Post, EZLabel could be the better investment.
