Our Verdict
The choice between Currency Converter Bear and Polydata hinges entirely on a merchant's specific business need. If the primary goal is to automatically display prices in the customer's local currency to increase sales and reduce shopping cart abandonment, then Currency Converter Bear is the clear choice. Its focus is entirely on currency conversion and geo-location-based pricing.
However, if the need is for comprehensive translation of store content into multiple languages to effectively reach and engage international customers, Polydata is the more suitable option. Its automated workflows, translation rules, and AI integration provide a powerful solution for maintaining consistent and accurate translations across the entire store. While Currency Converter Bear has significantly more reviews at this time, a merchant must choose based on the functionality required, not just popularity.
