Crisp ‑ Helpdesk & AI Chatbot vs Richpanel: AI Customer Supportfor Shopify (2026)
Crisp ‑ Helpdesk & AI Chatbot and Richpanel: AI Customer Support both target Shopify merchants seeking to improve customer service through AI-powered helpdesks and multi-channel support. Crisp emphasizes centralized communication across 12 channels, including less common ones like WhatsApp and phone, focusing on instant connection with customers and prospects. They position themselves as an 'omnichannel' solution. Richpanel, on the other hand, highlights cost reduction and self-service capabilities, emphasizing automation and 24/7 instant resolutions through a self-service portal. Our Verdict
Richpanel: AI Customer Support is likely the better choice for larger Shopify stores or those already using a competitor's helpdesk and looking to migrate. Their higher rating and significantly larger number of reviews suggest stronger user satisfaction and a more mature product. The emphasis on cost reduction and self-service also makes it appealing to businesses prioritizing efficiency and automation.
Crisp ‑ Helpdesk & AI Chatbot, with its wider channel support and focus on personalized AI, is well-suited for smaller to medium-sized businesses that want to build a strong omnichannel presence and create highly customized customer interactions. Its emphasis on easy AI handover may also appeal to businesses that prefer a more balanced approach between AI and human support.
