Conversion Bear Trust Badges vs Scala Parcelamento Installmentfor Shopify (2026)
Conversion Bear Trust Badges and Scala Parcelamento Installment both aim to improve conversion rates on Shopify stores, but achieve this through fundamentally different strategies. Conversion Bear focuses on building trust and perceived security by displaying trust badges and payment icons. Its large library of badge options, customization features, and placement flexibility cater to merchants wanting to visually reassure customers about their store's legitimacy. Scala Parcelamento, on the other hand, focuses on payment transparency and affordability by showcasing BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) installment options directly beneath product prices. This targets merchants looking to increase average order value by making purchases more accessible. Scala does NOT process transactions. Both apps affect design elements but in very different ways. Conversion Bear Trust Badges is geared towards merchants seeking to address customer trust concerns through visual reassurance, while Scala Parcelamento Installment caters to those who want to highlight payment flexibility to increase sales. Conversion Bear offers extensive badge customization and placement options, giving merchants granular control over their appearance. Scala focuses on automated installment calculation and display across the store. While both claim optimized performance, Conversion Bear explicitly states a minimal load time of under 30kb.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with overcoming customer hesitancy and building trust through visual cues, Conversion Bear Trust Badges is the stronger choice. Its extensive badge library, detailed customization options, and positive user reviews make it a compelling option. However, for stores actively promoting Buy Now Pay Later options and aiming to increase average order value by highlighting payment flexibility, Scala Parcelamento Installment is a better fit. While it has fewer reviews, its focused functionality and automatic display capabilities provide a streamlined approach.
Ultimately, the choice depends on the specific conversion bottleneck a merchant is facing. If cart abandonment is due to perceived security risks, Conversion Bear is likely to be more effective. If potential customers are deterred by the upfront cost of products, Scala Parcelamento Installment offers a direct solution by showcasing manageable installment plans.
