Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with building trust and alleviating customer anxieties about security and legitimacy, Conversion Bear Trust Badges is the better choice. Its extensive library of badges and customization options allow for seamless integration with the store's branding. However, for stores that have identified a significant drop-off rate on product pages due to customers not immediately finding the 'Add to Cart' button, Libautech: Sticky Add to Cart offers a more direct solution. It simplifies the purchase process and encourages immediate action. While Conversion Bear enjoys a higher rating and significantly more reviews, the best choice ultimately depends on the specific challenges faced by the individual Shopify store.
Common Questions
Which app is better for a new store?
Conversion Bear may be more valuable initially for a new store trying to establish credibility. Trust badges address inherent customer skepticism of unfamiliar online retailers. As a new store gains traction, Libautech might then be implemented to optimize the checkout flow.
Does Libautech offer trust badges?
No, Libautech: Sticky Add to Cart primarily focuses on providing a sticky add-to-cart button and action badges to encourage immediate purchase. It does not offer the same breadth of trust badges as Conversion Bear Trust Badges.
Can I use both apps simultaneously?
Yes, it is possible to use both apps together. Conversion Bear can build trust, while Libautech simplifies the add-to-cart process. However, careful consideration should be given to design and user experience to avoid clutter or confusion.
Is Conversion Bear Trust Badges difficult to set up?
Based on the description, Conversion Bear is designed for easy implementation, using a 1-click copy-paste method to place badges on any page. It does not appear to require coding knowledge.
How do I know if I need a sticky add-to-cart button?
Analyze your store's analytics. If you notice a significant percentage of visitors are viewing product pages but not adding items to their cart, a sticky add-to-cart button might improve conversions. Use A/B testing to confirm.
