Commslayer ‑ Helpdesk & Chat vs Fullcourtfor Shopify (2026)
Commslayer ‑ Helpdesk & Chat and Fullcourt are both helpdesk applications for Shopify, aiming to streamline customer support by centralizing communications. Commslayer, founded by the ex-Lifetimely founders, positions itself as a more comprehensive and feature-rich solution, especially through its AI-powered functionalities. Fullcourt, on the other hand, emphasizes simplicity and ease of use, targeting brands seeking a straightforward customer support management system. A key difference lies in the platforms supported: Commslayer integrates email, socials, and live chat, while Fullcourt focuses on email, Instagram, and Facebook. Commslayer also boasts unlimited agents and tickets. Commslayer's value proposition centres around efficiency gains through AI, such as automated reply suggestions and spam comment filtering. Its order management capabilities directly within the helpdesk, including refund and cancellation functionalities, suggest a deeper integration with Shopify's backend. Fullcourt prioritizes a unified inbox for key communication channels (email, Instagram, and Facebook) with direct Shopify order editing, refunding, and duplication. The lack of live chat support and AI functionality suggests a deliberate choice towards simplicity for users less concerned with advanced features.

Our Verdict
Commslayer is better suited for larger merchants or those experiencing significant support volume who need advanced features like AI-powered automation, multi-channel integration (including Live Chat), and no agent or ticket limitations. The ex-Lifetimely founders backing adds credibility. Fullcourt, with its focus on simplicity, likely appeals to smaller businesses or startups who primarily use email, Instagram, and Facebook for customer communication and who value an uncluttered interface.
Currently, the lack of any reviews for Fullcourt makes it a riskier choice. Commslayer's positive rating and reviews offer more confidence. However, if Fullcourt can deliver on its promise of being simple and easy to use, and offers a competitive price point, it could be a strong contender for businesses with basic support needs.
