Commentify: Customer Comments vs Heureka • Trust Badgefor Shopify (2026)
Commentify: Customer Comments and Heureka • Trust Badge are both Shopify apps that aim to build social trust, but they approach it in fundamentally different ways. Commentify focuses on on-site engagement through comments, reviews, and forum-like discussions directly within the Shopify store. Its key strength lies in creating a community and collecting organic feedback on product pages, blog posts, and other areas of the site. This can improve SEO and provide valuable insights directly from customers. Heureka • Trust Badge, on the other hand, is specifically designed to collect reviews through the Heureka platform, a popular price comparison and review site in Czech and Slovak markets. It helps merchants gain a 'Customer Verified' certificate and showcase it on their store. Therefore, its key strength lies in leveraging an established external platform to build credibility. The target audience is businesses operating within the Czech and Slovak markets that want to improve their social proof by linking themselves with the Heureka platform. The languages supported by the two apps are also different.

Our Verdict
For general Shopify merchants seeking to foster an on-site community, improve SEO through user-generated content, and gather direct feedback, Commentify: Customer Comments is likely the better choice. Its focus on on-site interactions and flexible comment system provides a range of benefits. Merchants using a Shopify 2.0 theme will especially benefit from the drag-and-drop editor for easy placement.
However, if your business operates primarily in the Czech or Slovak market and you're looking to leverage the credibility of the Heureka platform, Heureka • Trust Badge is the more suitable option. It directly integrates with Heureka's review system to earn a verified certificate, which can boost customer trust and conversions within that specific region.
