Commentify: Customer Comments vs EZ Internal Linking Assistantfor Shopify (2026)
Commentify: Customer Comments and EZ Internal Linking Assistant, while both categorized under 'Content' and 'Blogs' in the Shopify App Store, serve vastly different purposes and target distinct merchant needs. Commentify focuses on enhancing customer engagement and community building through comments, reviews, and feedback collection mechanisms. It provides a platform for customers to interact directly on product pages, blog posts, and other site areas, offering moderation tools and spam filtering. EZ Internal Linking Assistant, on the other hand, is a tool designed to improve SEO and website navigation by automating and simplifying the process of creating internal links within a Shopify store. It does not directly involve customer interaction or community building. The primary distinction lies in their value propositions: Commentify aims to increase customer engagement, gather feedback, and potentially improve SEO through user-generated content, while EZ Internal Linking Assistant concentrates on improving site structure and SEO through strategic internal linking. A key differentiating factor is that Commentify offers features like product reviews, blog comments, and nested replies, which are absent in EZ Internal Linking Assistant. Merchants seeking to foster a community and collect customer feedback would lean towards Commentify, whereas those prioritizing SEO and site navigation efficiency would find EZ Internal Linking Assistant more beneficial.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants aiming to cultivate a vibrant online community, gather product reviews, and facilitate customer discussions on blog posts, Commentify: Customer Comments is the more suitable choice. Its focus on user-generated content and moderation features directly addresses these needs. However, for merchants whose primary objective is to improve their store's SEO through strategic internal linking and enhanced site navigation, EZ Internal Linking Assistant is the better option. While Commentify might indirectly contribute to SEO through increased engagement, EZ Internal Linking Assistant directly targets SEO optimization, making it the more effective tool for that specific purpose. The limited number of reviews for both apps, however, suggests a need for further research before making a final decision, as more user experiences might reveal additional insights.
