Cohley: Photo, Video & Reviews vs StoreSEO: AI SEO Agentfor Shopify (2026)
Cohley: Photo, Video & Reviews focuses on user-generated content (UGC) and creator marketing. Its primary strength lies in providing merchants with access to a marketplace of pre-vetted creators to generate product photos, videos, and reviews, along with managing the logistics of product shipping and tracking to those creators. The app targets merchants seeking to enhance their product pages and marketing materials with authentic and diverse content, aiming for increased engagement and social proof through visually appealing user-created assets and reviews. Conversely, StoreSEO: AI SEO Agent is centered on search engine optimization, employing AI to improve a store's ranking on Google, ChatGPT, and Gemini. It offers a suite of tools for keyword research, image optimization, schema markup, and SEO error fixing, aiming to drive more organic traffic and sales. The key difference between the two apps is their core function: Cohley provides tools for content creation and influencer marketing, while StoreSEO concentrates on improving a store's search engine visibility. Cohley is aimed at merchants needing high-quality visual content and user reviews, whereas StoreSEO targets businesses focused on increasing organic traffic and optimizing their website for search engines through AI-powered tools and expert SEO support. The presence of a significant number of reviews with a perfect rating for StoreSEO suggests a well-received and effective tool, while the lack of reviews for Cohley makes its value proposition less clear.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing visual content and user-generated reviews to enhance product pages and marketing campaigns, Cohley: Photo, Video & Reviews *could* be a valuable tool if it delivers on its promise of connecting them with relevant creators and streamlining the content creation process. However, the lack of reviews makes it a risky choice. StoreSEO: AI SEO Agent is a significantly more established and potentially reliable choice for merchants seeking to improve their search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
Given its perfect rating and substantial number of reviews, StoreSEO appears to be the superior option for merchants looking to invest in SEO improvements. Cohley, despite its interesting concept, requires further validation through user feedback to demonstrate its effectiveness and reliability. If a merchant has both content creation and SEO needs, they might consider using StoreSEO first and re-evaluating Cohley once reviews become available.
