ClawCrane: Game & Email Popup vs Lury: Make an Offerfor Shopify (2026)
ClawCrane: Game & Email Popup and Lury: Make an Offer both aim to boost conversions and customer engagement on Shopify stores, but they employ vastly different strategies. ClawCrane focuses on gamified email capture, turning the mundane email popup into a fun, interactive claw crane game to incentivize sign-ups with discounts. It targets merchants looking for a playful and memorable way to grow their email list and reduce cart abandonment. In contrast, Lury empowers customers to make offers on products, enabling dynamic pricing and negotiation. Its appeal lies in increasing sales by allowing customers to name their price, particularly on select products or collections. The core difference is in the value proposition. ClawCrane offers an entertainment-driven approach to lead generation, whereas Lury prioritizes direct sales conversion through price negotiation. Lury's strength lies in its smart rules for auto-accepting, declining, or countering offers, reducing manual effort. ClawCrane provides a unique user experience with its customizable in-game items and wide language support to retain customers. The choice between the two hinges on a merchant's brand identity and conversion goals. If engagement and list building are key, ClawCrane is a great option, while Lury excels in direct sales and dynamic pricing strategies.

Our Verdict
For Shopify merchants prioritizing email list growth and brand engagement through a unique and playful experience, ClawCrane is the stronger choice. Its gamified approach can significantly improve email capture rates and reduce cart abandonment. However, for stores focused on direct sales and willing to explore dynamic pricing strategies by allowing customers to make offers, Lury is the better option. Lury's automated negotiation features can streamline the sales process and potentially increase revenue on targeted products.
While both apps have high ratings, the small sample size of reviews should be considered. Merchants should carefully evaluate their target audience and desired conversion strategy before making a decision. If a merchant wants to present a fun and engaging brand image, ClawCrane is a unique solution. Conversely, if the goal is to improve sales on specific products by allowing dynamic pricing and negotiation, Lury presents a more direct path.
