CI ‑ Cash On Delivery COD Fee vs COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verifyfor Shopify (2026)
CI ‑ Cash On Delivery COD Fee and COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify both target Shopify merchants using Cash on Delivery (COD) payment options, but their approaches and target audiences differ significantly. CI ‑ Cash On Delivery COD Fee focuses on simple COD fee management by allowing merchants to add fees, link COD payments to specific shipping methods, and set limits based on cart value, location, and product. It positions itself as a user-friendly solution requiring no coding. It primarily aims to help merchants recoup the costs associated with COD handling. However, it currently lacks any user reviews. COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify, on the other hand, takes a more comprehensive approach to reducing RTO (Return to Origin)/RTS (Return to Sender) rates and combating fake orders. Its key features include OTP verification via SMS/WhatsApp, upfront/partial payments, and conversion of COD orders to prepaid by offering discounts. While it also offers COD fee management, its strength lies in fraud prevention and improving conversion rates. It is clearly more mature, with a large number of positive user reviews and a broader feature set.

Its comprehensive feature set, including OTP verification and partial payments, coupled with a strong rating and significant user reviews, makes it the more reliable and effective solution for a broader range of merchants, particularly those in India & Egypt where it explicitly offers extended support.
