Chronopost Official vs EZLabel: Australia Post Shipfor Shopify (2026)
Chronopost Official and EZLabel: Australia Post Ship are both shipping apps for Shopify, but they cater to vastly different needs and have drastically different user satisfaction levels. Chronopost Official aims to provide a comprehensive shipping solution primarily for merchants shipping internationally via Chronopost, promising seamless integration and features like label generation and order export. Its focus is broad, supporting shipment to 230 countries and offering return transport options for eligible European countries. However, its extremely low rating and minimal reviews raise significant concerns about its usability and reliability. EZLabel: Australia Post Ship, on the other hand, is highly specialized. It focuses exclusively on automating shipping label creation for merchants using Australia Post MyPost Business. Its high rating and substantial number of reviews indicate a well-received and reliable app. The core strength lies in its simplicity and ease of use, allowing merchants to print, fulfill, and track orders in just two clicks. It supports various packaging options and shipping types (local and international via Australia Post), making it a robust solution for Australian merchants using that specific carrier.

Our Verdict
Given the overwhelming difference in ratings and review counts, EZLabel: Australia Post Ship is the clear choice for Australian merchants using Australia Post MyPost Business. Its focus on ease of use and automation of key shipping tasks is well-received by its users.
Chronopost Official's extremely low rating suggests significant issues with its performance or usability. Unless a merchant is heavily invested in using Chronopost and can tolerate potential challenges, it is difficult to recommend this app in its current state. Further investigation into user feedback and potential updates would be crucial before considering it.
Common Questions
Which app is better for international shipping?
Chronopost Official claims to support shipping to 230 countries, whereas EZLabel primarily focuses on Australia Post shipments, which can be international as well. However, the very low rating of Chronopost Official suggests caution. Merchants shipping internationally should thoroughly research user reviews and consider alternative apps with better reputations before committing to Chronopost Official.
Which app is easier to use?
EZLabel: Australia Post Ship is explicitly designed for ease of use, boasting a 'two-click' label printing and fulfillment process. Chronopost Official describes itself as intuitive, but the low rating suggests it might not live up to that claim in practice.
Does Chronopost Official support Australia Post?
No, Chronopost Official is designed for use with the Chronopost carrier, not Australia Post.
Which app is more reliable?
Based on the available data, EZLabel: Australia Post Ship appears significantly more reliable. Its 5/5 rating and high review count suggest a positive user experience, whereas Chronopost Official's 1.4/5 rating indicates potential issues.
Which app is better for a small business just starting out?
For a small business in Australia using Australia Post, EZLabel: Australia Post Ship is likely the better option due to its ease of use and high reliability. The risk associated with the low-rated Chronopost Official makes it a less suitable choice for a business that needs a dependable shipping solution.
