Chargeback Specialist vs Disputelyfor Shopify (2026)
Chargeback Specialist and Disputely both aim to help Shopify merchants combat chargebacks and fraud in 2026. Chargeback Specialist positions itself as a solution that combines AI and human expertise for dispute responses, focusing on recovering lost revenue and adapting to individual business needs. It targets fast-growing eCommerce brands and high-volume stores, emphasizing tailored responses and ease of activation. Disputely, on the other hand, focuses on prevention, aiming to stop disputes and fraud before they occur using real-time alerts and automated protection across multiple payment processors, CRMs, and sales tools. A key difference lies in their approach. Chargeback Specialist prioritizes crafting strong dispute responses with AI and human oversight, while Disputely focuses on preventing chargebacks from happening in the first place through comprehensive system integration and proactive fraud alerts. Furthermore, Chargeback Specialist highlights ease of use with one-click activation and no technical setup, potentially appealing to merchants seeking a quick and straightforward solution. Disputely implies a more extensive integration process to connect to various platforms for optimal prevention. The absence of user reviews for Disputely makes it challenging to validate its effectiveness or user experience compared to Chargeback Specialist, which has garnered a perfect rating from a small sample of users.

Our Verdict
For merchants prioritizing dispute *resolution* and revenue recovery from existing chargebacks, especially those with a preference for human oversight and ease of setup, Chargeback Specialist appears to be the stronger choice, backed by a perfect rating, although with limited reviews. However, merchants who are highly proactive and want to *prevent* chargebacks from occurring in the first place, have the resources to integrate multiple systems, and are comfortable with a purely automated approach, Disputely might be a better fit in theory. Given the lack of reviews and reliance on system integration, cautious investigation of Disputely is recommended. Without user feedback, it's impossible to validate its efficacy.
