CFM: Customer Fields Manager vs KwikPass: OTP‑login & Popupsfor Shopify (2026)
CFM: Customer Fields Manager and KwikPass: OTP‑login & Popups both fall under the 'Accounts and login' category on the Shopify app store, but they address drastically different needs. CFM focuses on enhancing the customer registration process by allowing merchants to add custom fields to the signup form, enabling them to collect more detailed customer data upfront. This data can then be used for marketing optimization and customer segmentation. KwikPass, on the other hand, centers around simplifying the login process through OTP-based authentication and engaging new visitors with interactive pop-ups to capture leads and drive sales. CFM's strength lies in its ability to provide rich customer profiles from the moment of account creation, offering 14 different field types and conditional logic for a tailored registration experience. KwikPass excels in converting anonymous visitors into identifiable leads using phone-first login and gamified pop-ups like 'Spin the Wheel.' It aims to reduce friction during login and incentivize immediate engagement. Therefore, CFM targets merchants prioritizing detailed customer data collection, while KwikPass caters to stores focused on lead generation and streamlining the user login experience. Despite both having a perfect 5/5 rating, the significant difference in review volume suggests KwikPass has a much larger and more active user base, implying a higher level of market adoption.
