Cashify COD Order Confirmation vs Partialy ‑ Partial Payment CODfor Shopify (2026)
Cashify COD Order Confirmation and Partialy ‑ Partial Payment COD both address Cash on Delivery (COD) order management on Shopify, but they approach the problem from distinctly different angles. Cashify focuses on preventing fraudulent COD orders by automating IVR calls, OTP verification, and SMS confirmations. Its core value proposition is reducing logistics expenses associated with fake orders by ensuring order validity before fulfillment. Partialy, on the other hand, aims to increase sales and reduce Return to Origin (RTO) rates by enabling partial payments and flexible COD rules. It caters to merchants who want to offer customers more payment options and exert greater control over their COD fulfillment process. Cashify seems targeted towards merchants significantly plagued by fake or fraudulent COD orders, seeking a straightforward solution for order verification. Partialy appeals to businesses looking to enhance their payment flexibility, implement advanced COD strategies, and potentially increase conversion rates by offering options like partial payments and deferred payment plans. The difference lies in the fundamental objective: Cashify is about order validation and cost reduction, while Partialy centers around payment flexibility, increased sales, and reduced RTO.

Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with preventing fake COD orders and minimizing associated logistics costs, Cashify COD Order Confirmation is the more suitable choice, despite its lower rating and higher review count. The focus on automated verification via IVR calls and SMS addresses this specific pain point directly. However, the relatively low rating suggests potential issues with app reliability or customer support. On the other hand, if a merchant's priority is to offer flexible payment options, implement advanced COD strategies, and potentially increase sales, Partialy ‑ Partial Payment COD is the better option. The perfect 5-star rating (though based on fewer reviews) signals a positive user experience and effective functionality for its intended purpose. The flexibility to offer partial payments and customize COD rules makes it a powerful tool for optimizing the checkout process and reducing RTO.
Ultimately, the choice depends on the specific problems a merchant is trying to solve. If fraud prevention is paramount, Cashify is worth considering, but carefully review recent user feedback and support responsiveness. If the focus is on enhancing payment options and COD management, Partialy is the stronger contender, especially if the merchant's customer base welcomes flexible payment solutions.
