Our Verdict
For merchants seeking a simple, focused solution centered on free shipping to boost AOV, Essential Free Shipping Upsell is the stronger choice due to its higher number of reviews indicating user satisfaction and its specific features tailored to optimizing the free shipping incentive. It’s ideal for stores where free shipping is a primary motivator for customers. However, if merchants desire a more comprehensive AOV solution with multiple incentive options like tiered discounts, free gifts, and bundle builders in addition to free shipping, then Cart Boost for Black Friday is a better fit, despite its limited number of reviews. The “Black Friday” name may be misleading as it appears to be an evergreen AOV boosting tool.
