Our Verdict
For merchants experiencing duplicate content issues or needing precise control over which version of a page is indexed by search engines, Canonical Tag URL Wizard is the clear choice, especially considering its positive user ratings and reviews, something that Related Collection Links lacks. It allows for fine-tuning of canonical URLs which directly influences the search engine's perspective. On the other hand, Related Collection Links would be more suitable for merchants aiming to boost internal linking and improve site navigation, particularly those looking for an automated solution without extensive SEO knowledge. Its value lies in its ability to make more content available to customers, and improve SEO in a less direct way. Given the lack of reviews for Related Collection Links and the well reviewed functionality of the other option, Canonical Tag URL Wizard is the better starting point.
