Common Questions
Which app is easier to set up?
Both apps claim ease of setup. CallbackRequest emphasizes 'no code necessary' while Tangent highlights 'fast setup and integration'. The actual ease likely depends on the merchant's technical skills and familiarity with each type of app. CallbackRequest is inherently simpler due to its more focused functionality.
Which app is better for collecting customer data?
Tangent : Hair & Skin Quiz is far superior for data collection. It gathers extensive zero-party data through its quizzes and AI analysis, providing a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and preferences. CallbackRequest primarily collects contact information.
Can I use both apps on my Shopify store?
Yes, you can technically use both apps. However, their functions are distinct, so the value proposition may overlap less than other app combinations. A merchant might consider CallbackRequest for immediate support and Tangent for long-term personalization strategies.
Which app is more GDPR compliant?
CallbackRequest explicitly mentions GDPR compliance, stating it displays the privacy policy and a checkbox for EU customers. Tangent doesn't directly mention GDPR in its description, but as a data-collecting app, it would need to adhere to GDPR guidelines to operate legally in relevant regions. Merchants should verify GDPR compliance directly with Tangent.
Does either app offer a free trial?
The app descriptions do not mention whether either app offers a free trial. Merchants should check the Shopify App Store listing for the most up-to-date information on pricing and trial availability.
