Buddify AI Discounts vs Quantity Discounts ‑ Selectorfor Shopify (2026)
Buddify AI Discounts and Quantity Discounts ‑ Selector offer distinct approaches to boosting sales on Shopify in 2026. Buddify AI aims to automate sales by providing AI-powered, personalized discounts through interactive conversations, promising higher conversions and happier customers with minimal setup. Its strength lies in its ease of use and immediate application, targeting merchants who want a hands-off solution to optimize pricing and customer engagement. The app promises to understand customer intent and handle negotiations, aiming for increased profits without the need for manual configuration. Quantity Discounts ‑ Selector, on the other hand, provides a more hands-on approach by enabling merchants to create customizable discount campaigns, including tiered volume discounts, bundles, BOGO offers, and free gifts. It caters to merchants who want greater control over their discounting strategies and a highly customizable widget to match their store's theme. While it offers a wider array of discount types and customization options, it requires more setup and configuration compared to the AI-driven automation of Buddify AI. Therefore, it would benefit those businesses with marketing staff. Quantity Discount Selector aims for increased Average Order Value (AOV) and inventory clearance with discounts.
