Our Verdict
For merchants primarily concerned with intelligently suggesting related products on product pages and replicating a familiar Amazon-like shopping experience, BST‑Frequently Bought Together is the stronger choice. Its focus on AI and design customization offers a targeted solution. However, merchants seeking a more comprehensive cart optimization toolkit, encompassing various tactics like free gifts, progress bars, urgency timers, and abandoned cart recovery, should opt for Opus Cart Upsell Cart Drawer. The higher number of reviews for Opus also suggests a wider user base and potentially more community support.
Ultimately, the best app depends on the specific priorities of the merchant. If AI-driven cross-selling is paramount, BST is the better fit. If a broader cart enhancement strategy is desired, Opus provides a more complete solution.
