BSS B2B & Wholesale Solution vs Locksmithfor Shopify (2026)
BSS B2B & Wholesale Solution and Locksmith cater to distinctly different needs within the Shopify ecosystem, despite sharing the 'Accounts and login' category. BSS B2B & Wholesale Solution positions itself as a comprehensive solution for merchants managing B2B wholesale operations. It boasts a high rating (4.8/5) and a significant number of reviews (882), suggesting established user satisfaction and feature richness specifically tailored for custom pricing, tiered discounts, net terms, and tax controls required in B2B scenarios. It aims to streamline complex wholesale workflows and is especially useful for stores engaging in hybrid online and in-store sales due to Shopify POS integration. Locksmith, in contrast, focuses on restricting access to specific parts of a Shopify store or website. The core difference lies in their functionalities. BSS B2B & Wholesale Solution centralizes and optimizes B2B processes with features like dedicated registration forms, order limits, and automated tax-exempt rules, making it suited for stores needing robust B2B functionality. Locksmith's purpose revolves around locking content and pages, likely for various reasons such as creating members-only areas or safeguarding specific product information from unauthorized access. While Locksmith's rating is also strong (4.7/5), the significantly lower review count (293) suggests a more niche or specialized application compared to the broader B2B focus of BSS B2B & Wholesale Solution.
