BrandsGateway‑Fashion Dropship vs DSers‑AliExpress Dropshippingfor Shopify (2026)
BrandsGateway‑Fashion Dropship and DSers‑AliExpress Dropshipping offer fundamentally different approaches to dropshipping on Shopify. BrandsGateway caters specifically to merchants seeking to sell high-end, luxury fashion items. Its strength lies in providing access to a curated catalog of designer clothing and accessories, handling inventory and fulfillment, and allowing merchants to focus on sales and marketing within the luxury niche. The low review count, however, suggests a smaller user base, possibly indicating a more specialized appeal and potentially fewer resources for common issues. DSers, on the other hand, targets a broader market of dropshippers using AliExpress. Its primary value is in optimizing the AliExpress dropshipping process through supplier optimization, bulk order processing, and automated order tracking. DSers focuses on efficiency and scale within the vast AliExpress marketplace. It helps merchants find cheaper suppliers, manage products from various sources, and automate many tedious tasks involved in dropshipping. The high number of reviews and a perfect rating suggests a well-established and widely used app with significant community support. BrandsGateway focuses on offering a curated, higher-margin product catalog with built-in fulfillment, trading volume and automation to facilitate a higher average transaction value for dropshippers of designer items.

Our Verdict
The choice between BrandsGateway and DSers hinges on the type of products you want to sell and your tolerance for managing fulfillment. If you are focused on building a luxury fashion dropshipping store and value higher profit margins and automated fulfillment, BrandsGateway is the better choice. It provides a curated selection of designer items and handles the logistics, allowing you to concentrate on marketing and sales. However, you should be comfortable with its limited brand selection within luxury fashion.
For merchants looking to offer a broader range of products at potentially lower price points, and who are comfortable managing supplier relationships and utilizing tools to streamline the fulfillment process through AliExpress, DSers is the more suitable option. It offers greater flexibility in product selection and pricing but requires more active management of the supply chain. DSers provides tools to optimize this process, but the responsibility for sourcing and managing suppliers ultimately falls on the merchant.
Common Questions
What level of dropshipping experience is each app suited for?
BrandsGateway may be easier for beginners due to its curated catalog and automated fulfillment. DSers, while having tools to simplify, might require more experience to navigate the vast AliExpress marketplace and manage multiple suppliers effectively.
Which app offers better profit margins?
BrandsGateway claims to offer higher profit margins due to its focus on luxury fashion, allowing for premium pricing. However, this also depends on your marketing and sales strategy and perceived value by your customer. DSers profits depend on supplier rates.
How do the shipping times compare?
Shipping times for BrandsGateway are presumably faster and more reliable due to in-house fulfillment and management. DSers shipping times depend on the AliExpress supplier and chosen shipping method, which can vary greatly.
What are the upfront costs for using each app?
The descriptions do not explicitly state the upfront costs for either app. It is essential to check their respective pricing pages on the Shopify App Store.
Which app is better for scaling a dropshipping business?
DSers offers features like bulk ordering and multi-store management, making it potentially better for scaling across multiple product lines and store fronts within the all-encompassing world of AliExpress. BrandsGateway's ability to scale depends on the overall luxury fashion market which is still in demand in 2026, and is limited to the brands they offer.
