BorderBuddy Customs ~Ship DDP vs vFulfill ‑ COD Dropshippingfor Shopify (2026)
BorderBuddy Customs ~Ship DDP and vFulfill ‑ COD Dropshipping are both highly-rated (5/5) shipping solutions available on the Shopify app store, although they address vastly different needs. BorderBuddy focuses on streamlining DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping to Canada, providing all-in pricing and CARM compliance. It targets merchants selling to Canadian customers who want to offer transparent pricing and avoid surprise fees at delivery. The app emphasizes ease of use and automated processes for generating labels and fulfilling orders. vFulfill ‑ COD Dropshipping, on the other hand, isn't described in detail but, based on its name, likely caters to merchants using Cash on Delivery (COD) dropshipping models. Without more information, it is challenging to assess the app's specific features. However, it can be inferred that this app focuses on facilitating order fulfillment where payment is collected upon delivery, which contrasts with BorderBuddy's prepaid duty and tax model. The app is likely more relevant to businesses that are dropshipping and want to give customers the option to pay cash on delivery, potentially increasing conversion rates in markets where COD is a popular payment method.
