Bonjoro: Thank You Videos vs Swish (formerly Wishlist King)for Shopify (2026)
Bonjoro: Thank You Videos and Swish (formerly Wishlist King) both aim to enhance customer loyalty, but they approach it from vastly different angles. Bonjoro focuses on personalized, direct engagement through video messages triggered by purchases. Its strength lies in creating a personal connection and fostering brand advocacy through a unique and memorable touch. It targets merchants looking for a high-impact, personalized approach to customer appreciation and aims to build a loyal customer base through individual connections. Swish (formerly Wishlist King), on the other hand, provides a wishlist functionality to encourage customers to save items for future purchase and stay engaged with the store. It leverages a broader approach using a range of features to capture customer interest, generate sales leads and drive customer retention through remarketing. The key difference is the type of interaction and level of automation. Bonjoro requires the merchant to create individual video messages, while Swish is more automated, providing a wishlist platform and automated notifications. This makes Bonjoro better for scenarios where a personalized touch is highly valued and resources can be allocated for video creation. Swish is likely a better option for businesses focused on driving sales through a more scalable and less labor-intensive system of customer engagement.
